Wow. Sharia law is quite controversial in the West, and for good reason. The subjugation of women is much easier to facilitate in societies under Sharia law. But don't just take my word on it.

The House of Lords today drew stark attention to the conflict between sharia and UK law, calling the Islamic legal code "wholly incompatible" with human rights legislation.

Hmmmm.... And what of the group this Obama appointee was speaking too??? Well

The group believes in the non-violent destruction of Western democracy and the creation of an Islamic state under Sharia Law across the world.
