Fred Thompson's candidacy is kind of like a 14 month pregnancy. It's time to end the gestation and get on with it. I think his (comparably) late entry helped him at first, but I imagine others besides myself are now tiring of it.
Get in, or get out already.

Are you saying that Fred squats when he pees?
I see two things from this. One, yeah, it would be nice if he would finally just throw his hat in the ring along with everyone else.
At the same time, I'm tired of hearing about all the current candidates, and if they had waited the way Fred Thompson has, maybe we would not already be tired of this election.
I agree, it is way too early for any of this. But since it's been decided that it will begin early, all of this speculation is getting dull. I think Thompson was smart to wait, but all of the speculation about his candidacy is getting dull.
i don't think he squats to pee, but the saying is "shit or get off the pot" and I thought that might be a little extreme.
