The Democrats may be breaking records with the speed in which they are breaking campaign promises. But the least surprising one would be their promise to respect minority party opinion if elected. Read this:

Democrats pledged to bring courtesy to the Capitol when they assumed control of Congress last month. But from the start, the new majority used its muscle to force through its agenda in the House and sideline Republicans.

The Democrats complained bitterly when Republicans used these tactics against them. The Democrats promised that things would be different if they were put into the majority. The Democrats lied.
